Islam's Holiday Message

Hello Thinkers,

Before I start up with Islam's holiday message to you all, I must indulge myself with the gratifying affirmation of my own basal genius. I TOLD YOU SO!!!! If you recall my October 13th rant, I asked where are all the hurricanes that the "climate experts" said were going nail the northeast?

Well, a little bit late to the party, the Tampa Tribune online has decided to weigh on this topic late last November:

With cataclysmic predictions that hurricanes would swarm from the tropics like termites, no one thought 2006 would be the most tranquil season in a decade.

Again, "climate experts" not only cannot predict an accurate hurricane season - but BLOW THE FORECAST like Patrick Kennedy on a road-side sobriety test. Thus, how in the hell are we to believe their fire and brimstone wailing on the SCAM OF THE CENTURY (known by some as "global warming") which projects massive long term natural disasters (as well as short term funding grabs)?

Undaunted by something as annoying as facts, what do the representatives of the left do to those who dare to express an opinion which differs from the enviro-nut party line? Why they tell them to shut up - or else!

On October 27 Sens. Rockefeller (D., W.Va.) and Snowe (R., Maine) sent a letter to ExxonMobil's CEO requesting that ExxonMobil end its financial assistance and support of groups and individuals who reject global warming claims, and urging it to "publicly acknowledge both the reality of climate change and the role of humans in causing or exacerbating it."

Here is some of the text of the letter from Senators Snowe and Rockefeller:

We are convinced that ExxonMobil's longstanding support of a small cadre of global climate change skeptics, and those skeptics access to and influence on government policymakers, have made it increasingly difficult for the United States to demonstrate the moral clarity it needs across all facets of its diplomacy.

Ahhh... Here we see that only those who accept without question the word of the fund-hunting "climate experts" can speak with "moral clarity" from the high ground. But there's more:

Similarly, we have seen press reports that your British subsidiary has told the Royal Society, Great Britain's foremost scientific academy, that ExxonMobil will stop funding other organizations with similar purposes. However, a casual review of available literature, as performed by personnel for the Royal Society reveals that ExxonMobil is or has been the primary funding source for the "skepticism" of not only CEI, but for dozens of other overlapping and interlocking front groups sharing the same obfuscation agenda. For this reason, we share the goal of the Royal Society that ExxonMobil "come clean" about its past denial activities, and that the corporation take positive steps by a date certain toward a new and more responsible corporate citizenship.

Did you read between the lines here? ExxonMobil must "come clean." They have participated in "denial activities." George Orwell would be proud. What Senators Snowe and Rockefeller are saying here is "knock it off.. or else!" Not a threat to be taken lightly from US Senators.

And finally here comes the money grab. Since they are losing the battle in the forum of open ideas, the left must shut down those who object to their will. Funding must be sent to the "climate experts" only - how else can we pay for their hurricane forecast for 2007?

Further, we believe ExxonMobil should take additional steps to improve the public debate, and consequently the reputation of the United States. We would recommend that ExxonMobil publicly acknowledge both the reality of climate change and the role of humans in causing or exacerbating it. Second, ExxonMobil should repudiate its climate change denial campaign and make public its funding history. Finally, we believe that there would be a benefit to the United States if one of the world's largest carbon emitters headquartered here devoted at least some of the money it has invested in climate change denial pseudo-science to global remediation efforts.

But what the hell. It's Christmas time. I'll give the "climate experts" a break for now. Time for peace on earth, right? And who better to give the "Peace on Earth" message than someone from the "Religion of Peace." Well good news from across the pond. Earlier this year, Islamic leaders in the UK have issued a joint message denouncing violence against "innocents." Whew! For a minute there I thought Islamic leaders wanted to dominate the globe and institute Sharia law:

Islamic leaders across Birmingham have issued a joint message against terrorism in a bid to tackle mistrust of Muslims in the UK.... It states: "That killing of innocent civilians is absolutely forbidden in Islam and anyone who contemplates or commits any such act, does so against the teachings of Islam."

Sounds good, eh? But here's the rub. Innocents are Muslims only. Non-innocents are you, me and everybody else who is not a Muslim. Here's a text snippet from a recent BBC interview with Shiekh Omar Bakri:

BBC: Your own leader, Omar Bakri [Mohammed], said quite simply "I condemn the killing of innocent people" on the 20th of July. Why won't you say what he says?

Choudary: At the end of the day, when we say "innocent people" we mean "Muslims". As far as non-Muslims are concerned, they have not accepted Islam. As far as we are concerned, that is a crime against God.

And if you think I'm making this up, here's the 3 minute interview from youtube. To see the reality of what we face today, I highly recommend you watch it before youtube wises up and shuts it down:

So much for the "Religion of Peace." That's why I don't wish anyone "peace" during Christmas, but I do wish them something most Christians don't get under Islamic law - freedom.
